Training (available)
Using scripture as our basis, the training will be divided into 3 sections: Why we care, a book study and practical training. We will consider God’s call to care as well as take some time to ask questions about what hinders us from caring for others. Using Side by Side, we will emphasise as needed and needing people that no one has it together, and we were created to walk together as weak people pointing each other to a powerful Father. The training will end with how to practically walk with someone, talking through how to be wise in framing our questions, deciphering how to help well and working through the prepared templates and resources for you to quickly start facilitating care. (4 hours over two evenings)
Ongoing Support
This service is a treasured gift to churches. Our Director of Advocates is available to connect with you if you have questions about how to walk alongside someone. You may receive suggestions, connections, and resources that may be immediately helpful or you will be informed that more inquiries will be made to best support you. Prayer and encouragement will always be provided to you!! Reach out at any time!
